Art and appreciation of it in all its various guises has always been a part of my family experience;
my grandfather on my father's side was a portrait painter, my mother was a potter.
This varied approach led me to do a degree in Illustration at Brighton University.
In Scotland I trained as a tattoo artist
and have studied traditional painting techniques (egg tempera).
I utilise all these influences within my work, it has been a gradual
journey and I am still discovering as I go along.
I like to create bespoke pieces for my clients, and
would describe my work as Magical Realism.
I live in Scotland with my two boys and lots of books.
I hope you enjoy perusing through my work, please feel free to contact me
if you have any questions or are interested in purchasing a piece.
