ONCE A TREE
For ‘Once a Tree’ Commissioned in 2022 by UNESCO, she  was inspired by the papier-mâché dome at Mills Observatory as a way of utilising recycled materials; the majority of which actually were once a tree. 
Rio likes the notion that it’s come full circle and is a reminder of how much paper and card gets used at Christmas.

HAMISH THE RHINO
Commissioned in 2022 by Abbeyford Leisure to renovate Hamish - who looks to be a long term guest at their Elie Holiday Park.  Hamish needed a bit of tlc and a bit of colour in his face.
